Worship Leader
FULL-TIME

To continue to grow our ministry, we are looking for someone who loves God, and who has a vision for bringing people into a worship experience that is comfortable, fun, free, and alive.

Our last worship leader was here for seven years. He has moved on because God is calling him to serve as Lead Pastor in a new church plant so that even more people will be reached with the Hope and Joy of Jesus.
The Yearly Base Salary for this position is $55K-70K.

Summary
The Worship Pastor is called to encourage and preserve divine worship in the local church and global Church. The Worship Pastor bears primary responsibility to provide professional leadership and direction for worship services and ministries through the expression of music and worship arts (drama, technology, sounds, music ministries) for Highlands Church. The Worship Pastor recruits and trains other leaders, modeling and encouraging others in faithful worship, and participates in the full life of the church and ministry.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate all worship ministries at Highlands Church. These will include (but is not limited to) Sunday morning worship and may include evening worship services.
- Direct and coordinate music and worship arts for special ministries, which may include camps and special church events and functions.
- To provide pastoral guidance for worship artists and their families, as well as special performers and technical assistants.
- To help worship artists remain in touch with the latest trends and ideas in Worship Arts and Music.
- To manage the production of graphics and videos as needed for worship.
- To help the congregation develop a healthy theology of worship and musical expression towards and for God.
- To help establish long range goals for the worship ministries at Highlands Church.
- Serve in all ministerial roles during worship as needed, including preaching, prayer, and sacraments.
- Develop, empower, and provide creative leadership for ministry teams that offer vision, goal-setting, and execution of programs to inspire hospitality and outreach and well as serve as staff resource person to the respective Elders for these Committees.
- To serve as a resource and support person for all church outreach events.
- Perform other pastoral practices, including visiting those in need and assisting or performing special services such as weddings and funerals.
- Attend weekly staff meetings and offer reports to Session and/or Lead Pastor as requested.

Worship Production Assistant
PART-TIME
The vision for the Worship Production Assistant is for this person to help make Highlands Church worship services a high-quality, heart-filled, passionate, and spiritually awakening experience.
Through the use of modern technology, they will coordinate professional-level audio, video, and lighting for both Sunday morning and online recorded services. The Worship Experience Coordinator will accomplish this vision by recruiting, training, coordinating, and ministering to volunteers so that they experience the joy of serving Jesus.
$200/week

Student Ministry Coordinator
PART-TIME
- Organize and execute HSM Co. and The Middle weekly programming.
- Schedule volunteers for Student Ministry programming in Planning Center Online.
- Review and update all projects in online platforms (Asana/Slack)
- Assist in updating social media platforms (Facebook/Instagram)
- Consistent communication with parents
- Openness to assist, implement and/or execute Kid Ministry tasks as needed.
$20/hr

Kids Ministry Coordinator
PART-TIME
- Organize and execute Orange Curriculum for Sunday mornings.
- Schedule volunteers for Kids Ministry programming in Planning Center Online.
- Review and update all Asana projects and SLACK communication in a timely manner.
- Assist in updating social media platforms (Facebook/Instagram)
- Maintains consistent communication with volunteers
- Prepares small group materials for weekend services
- Openness to assist, implement and/or execute Kid Ministry tasks as needed.
$20/hr
