GLOBAL MISSIONS
Zozu Project
Zozu Project works to break the cycle of poverty in Uganda by providing education, economic opportunity, and hope.
What began as a short-term family missions trip has grown into a life-long commitment to these children, and today Zozu Project has a primary school, medical clinic, preschool, and educates over 400 children who would otherwise be on the streets.

In Our Community
Local Mission Partners
Highlands Church engages in a number of local missions initiatives, partnering with preexisting ministries and organizations to provide the most effective support. We do this through all-church campaigns, small groups that serve together, critical financial support, and, most of all, prayer.

Crush
Through the generous donations of farmers and wine makers, Highlands is helping produce a wine that will be sold to benefit local immigrants in their time of need.

Samaritan Fund
People experiencing hardship can apply to the Samaritan Fund for financial aid to help cover the cost of a utility bill, a medical expense, or other expenses.

Girl Talk
A mentoring program within our local public schools, Girl Talk exists to inspire girls to be more confident leaders, support one another, and grow into strong young women.

Loaves & Fishes
Every year, Highlands conducts a city-wide campaign called Smash Out Hunger to generate donations to support the Loaves and Fishes organization. Local middle schools get together to celebrate this campaign.

Paso Cares
Paso Cares is a local non-profit organization whose mission is to provide for the immediate and longer term needs of homeless and needy persons and families in the Paso Robles area by providing shelter, food, and help.

Rise
As a nonprofit organization that serves both victims of intimate partner violence and sexual assault/abuse and their loved ones, RISE provides comprehensive programs, services, and resources to the community.

Front Porch
Front Porch is a coffee house where students can hang out with friends, study, or grab a cup of coffee. Front Porch seeks to create an environment where students from local colleges can build genuine relationships and live life together.

The Link
The Link supplies children, youth, and families with programs and services to address their unique needs. They provide child welfare and education services and aim to keep families united while engaging in child abuse prevention.
Pray
Pray that God will open the hearts of more people so they too can know the joy of following Jesus.
Step Out in Faith
Believe in God’s plan to bring hope and healing to all communities through the local church.
Praise
Praise God for the many ways you sacrificially share God’s love through your gifts every single day.
